the book i read was about collage.

Janus. God of beginnings, endings and time. 

A symbol of change and transitions, such as the progression of past to future, of one condition to another, of one vision to another & the growing up of youngsters to adults.

Mostly depicted with two heads, facing opposite directions. One head looks back while the other looks forward; this is why he is a figure who represents time, as he can see into the past with one face and into the future with the other, simultaneously seeing both ways.

He is the inspiration for my next tattoo, which i have yet to draw. In fact just to do a few drawings with relation to him, would be pretty cool. 

His month starts in 7 days so i suppose its appropriate in a few ways to start with him.
I will start drawing tomorrow.
